The Home section of the DreamHost Control Panel provides an overview of the available options. It is divided into nine areas:

Announcements
Most DreamHost customers will recieve relevent announcements in their email, but announcements are also available here for your convenience. Here you'll find announcements about downtime, software upgrades, etc. Emergency annoucements will be posted to http://status.dreamhost.com/.
Account Summary
An overall summary of your account. Lists your domains, usernames, and your billing cycle.
Account Privileges
Allow other DreamHost Web IDs to access and modify your account. See kbase article 899 for more information.
Dhsotm
The most interestingly named of any DreamHost feature, Dhsotm features a DreamHost member site every month.
Newsletters
This section is no longer available. Instead, see kbase article 586.
Suggestions
This is your opportunity to tell DreamHost how to improve. You may suggest an improvement and vote for up to 20 suggestions provided by other users.
